TIES… a Federation Platform
FaaS—Federation as a Service—is a new idea. FaaS bundles discrete SaaS applications to solve business problems of all kinds. TIES is the horizontal enterprise platform that makes it all possible.
TIES started slowly; it was like selling a TV set before there were any channels. The world is catching up fast, and TIES’ “content channels” are coming to life. And a lot of companies and potential customers are getting excited—traditional software channel giants, global multinationals and large government contractors among them.
TIES can’t beat Ken Jennings at Jeopardy, but it’s smart. It ties together innovative new Web capabilities—from a highly distributed array of sources—in a fresh new way. TIES can:
- mash up data behind customizable icons on a map;
- provide video surveillance, local 911 alerts and explosive real-time explosive detection results in a single dashboard;
- enable disaster risk response teams to create ad hoc, cross-organizational “swarms” in a crisis;
- monitor business competitors in real time, with filtered information from Wall St to Twitter…
TIES has an exciting, ever-growing list of capabilities. We grow by adding applications in our Federated App Layer, which interoperates with the core TIES application. TIES provides sign-up/sign-on, authentication/authorization, license management and a variety of other baseline functions. Our partners provide the sizzle—and much of the value.
